Serving local communities since 1930, Midwest Heritage is one of the oldest financial institutions in the state of Iowa. We are a full-service financial institution with nine locations that offers banking, lending, insurance and investment services. Headquartered in West Des Moines, Iowa, with branches and offices throughout the Midwest, we serve both consumer and commercial customers. As a subsidiary of Hy-Vee since 1986, we share the same commitment to helping our customers balance it all. Hy-Vee began operations in 1930 when Charles Hyde and David Vredenburg opened a small general store in Beaconsfield, Iowa. Today, Hy-Vee has grown to over 93,000 employee-owners and generates over $13 billion in annual sales from over 300 retail stores.
