Tony has led Midwest Heritage as president for many years. He is a vital part of pushing the company to evolve and innovate. Tony’s hard work and vision have earned him this next responsibility and recognition.

Tony joined Midwest Heritage as an assistant vice president who was responsible for consumer loans in 1992. In 2001, Tony was promoted to senior vice president of retail lending and became a member of the bank’s executive committee. In 2002, Tony was promoted to executive vice president and senior lender. He was named assistant vice president, Hy-Vee, Inc./president, chief executive officer, Midwest Heritage, in 2009. Tony was promoted to his current role as group vice president, Hy-Vee, Inc./president, chief executive officer, Midwest Heritage, in 2017.

Tony is originally from Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Northeast Missouri State. Tony furthered his education and graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. Tony’s family consists of his wife Kris and his three children – Jacob, Adam and Madison. He enjoys Iowa athletics, playing golf and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
